It is said that rings of mushrooms are the sign that fairies have been dancing here. Watch your step, for treading on it might get you into trouble... Verdigris agaric (Stropharia aeruginosa) is a slimy greyish blue mushroom which looks like fly agaric. Over time, its colour ends up fading to become golden. Does it not look totally magical to you? Its possible edibility is controversial amongst the specialists. I would rather leave this mysterious beauty alone.
