Elder Futhark rune set
A small sized rune set which easily fits in the pocket so you can take it with you anywhere.
Made out of a branch of white willow that grows on the bank of the lake down my village in Switzerland and hand-engraved in pyrography. Some of the pieces are adorned by grey and yellow lichen on the side, which add some more uniqueness to the vibration of each piece.
This branch comes from a small area of clay soil surrounded by water and that can be completely submerged when the lake is full. This make it really difficult for the vegetation to grow. As a result, the soil is naked and inhabited only by a forest of white willows, which gives to this place a very particular atmosphere.
The pale silverish colours of its leaves and its habit to grow by the water give to the white willow an air of being between worlds. Its power can help you transitioning, leaving behind you what no longer serves you and access a new level of understanding.
Coming into a handcrafted linen pouch, adorned with an ornamental embroidery on on the closing part. The pouch is comprised of two sets of cords ended by wooden pearls. Pull on the cords with dark pearls to open the pouch and pull on the ones with light pearls to close it.
Ready for you to personalise, consecrate, or whatever you feel like to do to connect with it, make it yours and use it.

Some runists have no affinity with Wyrd (the blank rune) and prefer to work only with the 24 symbols. Up to you to include it or not in your practice.

Please keep in mind that this rune set is completely handcrafted and made out of organic material. Each wooden piece has its own shape and particularities, as each rune has its own meaning and vibration.
